1. Overview

Findxeink (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is an offline application that lets you connect to Findxeink e-ink display devices over Bluetooth and send images, text, and contact cards to them. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what the App does and does not do with your information.

In short: the App works entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. Specifically:

  • We do not require account registration or login.
  • We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any identifier.
  • We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
  • We do not transmit any data to our servers or any third party. The App has no backend service and makes no network requests for user data.

3. How the App Uses Device Permissions

The App requests the following permissions solely to provide its core functionality. All processing happens locally on your device.

Bluetooth (scan & connect)

Used to discover, pair with, and send data to your e-ink display device. Bluetooth is used only for communicating with your hardware and is never used to identify you or derive your location.

Location (Android 11 and below only)

On older Android versions, the operating system requires the location permission in order to perform a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scan. The App does not read, collect, or use your geographic location. We declare neverForLocation to indicate that Bluetooth scan results are never used to derive location.

Photos / Storage (image picker)

Used only when you choose a photo from your gallery to send to your device. Selected images are processed locally and are never uploaded.

4. Data Storage

Any data you create or select (custom gallery images, transfer history, contact cards, language preference) is stored only on your deviceusing local storage. This data never leaves your device. You can delete it at any time through the in-app “Clear Cache” and “Reset to Default” options, or by uninstalling the App.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties, because the App does not collect any data.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

4. 数据存储

您创建或选择的任何数据（自定义图库图片、传输历史、联系人卡片、语言偏好）仅使用本地存储保存在您的设备上。这些数据绝不会离开您的设备。您可以随时通过应用内的“清除缓存”“恢复默认”选项删除，或通过卸载应用删除。

5. 数据共享

我们不与任何第三方共享任何数据，因为本应用不收集任何数据。

6. 儿童隐私

本应用不收集任何人（包括儿童）的个人信息。
